Match report.
This was a well attended game; not sure what gate receipts were, but there were at least 100 people paying their respects. It was also a very positive evening, with beautiful Spring sunshine.
Enough of the analogies. I met Mrs and Ms Stomper; both were surprised some random English bloke in a WHU shirt (same as shirt as Stomper's) had arrived.
The service was very positive. There were favourite family stories and lots of other stories from England read by close family friends. The evening got under way with a song Stomper wrote and sung......"I'm glad I'm not a penguin". Having a rough idea of Stomper's sense of humour, that song said it all.
It appears Stomper was doing well after his latest radiation bout, but one lump went rogue and finished him off quickly. That fits perfectly with my impression, he was arguing away merrily on the Trump thread, then silence.
RIP Stomper.

Sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Stomper clan. Will be sorely missed on WHO, but I suspect far more missed by those who knew him outside of cyberspace.
